Meeting Point of Two Major Faiths
This calendar gives a chronological account of the history of Haghia Sophia, stories and legends associated with the building, and research carried out here. To symbolize its role as a place of worship for two of the world's major religions, the purple of the Byzantines and the green of Islam form the background colours, except for the last page which is red of the Turkish flag.
